good choices

Glad I Did, And Not Wished I Had

There are times when I look back at the choices I made and how it has changed my life, and I am glad I did make some critical decisions.

This is your life, the only one you have, what you do with it is up to you! I know you want it better. You want better talents, better opportunities, better family background, better past and a future with brighter prospects; but what you have right now is all you’ve got, and what you make of it is entirely up to you.

You can decide to sit down and whine endlessly about how life has mistreated you to just about anyone that cares to listen, and you have every right to do just that. However, that is not going to change anything; rather, it will reduce the chances of you ever coming to the point where you pick up yourself and make something out of what you have.

Life is tough and very unfair. I completely agree with you that you may not deserve all the bad things that have come your way; however, the truth is that you are not alone, life has never been fair to anyone, and it will not start today or with you!

You are not supposed to sit there and wait for life to treat you better, get off your butt and change your life.

The odds are against you I know; you don’t have the talents, the skills or the opportunities to make the kind of life you want, I understand. I also understand that wherever there is a will, there is a way; if you want it enough, you will find a way to get it done. An essential tool for creating the kind of life you want is the passionate and excruciating desire to get it done. Nothing can stop you when you have fortified your mind with that quest.

Stop pitying yourself! Stop already! You cannot get pity and still get the medal; you have to choose one and settle down for it. It is either you are a champion, or you are a victim; champions receive medals, honor, and congratulations while victims receive nothing but sorry, pity and condolences. You need to choose and choose wisely.

This is your life, and at every point, you can turn it around and make something phenomenal out of it.

It is never about being the best or getting ahead of others; instead, it is more about making the best of what you have, what you are and where you are right now.

Enough with all the doubts you have; about yourself, about your abilities and your capabilities, you need to be convinced that you are good enough. You need to be confident that at every point in your life, what you have is enough!

Stop wishing life was better; stop wishing things were more comfortable, get out of your comfort zone and claim what you want your life to be.

We never had the opportunity to choose who we are and what we have, but we have the chance to decide what we make of our lives. This is your life, make it phenomenal!
